Buvaneswari Natarajan
Buvaneswari Natarajan is an accomplished academic and researcher in Computer Science with expertise in machine learning, deep learning, data mining, and recommender systems, currently serving as an Adjunct Faculty at Kean University and Middlesex College, New Jersey, with previous teaching experience in reputed institutions in India. She holds a Ph.D. from Anna University, has qualified the State Eligibility Test for Lectureship, and received the UGC Junior and Senior Research Fellowship. Her research contributions include query personalization, big data analytics, cyber-security, and healthcare-focused AI models, and she has developed algorithms such as WETPER along with deep learning architectures for datasets like COVID-19, MovieLens, and IoT intrusion detection. She has published extensively in IEEE, Scopus, and SCI journals, presented at major international conferences, and serves as a reviewer for leading journals including Soft Computing, Security and Privacy, PLOS One, and IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems. She also holds multiple patents in AI-based health prediction, health-vital monitoring devices, and mobile frequency safety. Her ongoing research aims to build scalable graph-based and temporal database-driven machine learning models to solve spatial-temporal big data challenges, especially in healthcare analytics and recommender systems.
